Happy (late) St. Valentine's Day! I had written out a whole post last night about this day but it somehow got erased (grrr, technology). So, here is a shortened version of it. I have never been obsessed with this day but I think it's still a cute way of showing those that you care about how much they mean to you. But, I also like to keep in mind that it is not just a day to go crazy about love, it's a day to remember Saint Valentine. And although it is unknown which saint Valentine this day is dedicated to (there are three possible one's), I like to think that it is Saint Valentine of Rome. Who is the patron saint of love, happy marriages, engaged couples, etc. With that said, I hope you all day a wonderful and blessed Saint Valentine's Day!
I made this "paper heart wreath" a few weeks before V-day, so by the time it came around to Feb. 14th, the whole thing was a sad looking heart. But it was nice while it lasted. (Thanks Pinterest for giving me awesome DIY ideas like this one!)
Breakfast for the day was heart shaped french toast. And homemade pizza for dinner! If you like lettuce, avocados, tomatoes and onions on your pizza (I do!), you will love this recipe! *hint* it's below these pictures :)

My boyfriend got me this necklace for St. Valentine's Day. It's from James Avery, I think he did a pretty good job picking it out, cause I love it!
And this is what I got him for "I Heart You Day." I decorated this old wine bottle, then wrote out a message for him on some scrapbook paper and voila! A message in a bottle :)
